I wish I could talk about the frustrations of today, but I can't talk about work. I wish I could tell you why I was on the phone with US Airways, and Who Cares Airways, and Stick-it To You Airways for more than a couple of hours when I should have all ready taken the train and driven home and been sitting in front of the TV getting ready to watch the Bachelor finale. And I wish I could tell you that was the only time I was on the phone, on hold, with the airlines, but it wasn't. Travel, airlines and baggage have claimed today and left me with nothing but exhaustion, a few less hairs on my head and a very empty stomach, because who can go get something to eat when they're stuck on their office phone on hold?
But most of all, I wish I could blame all the snafus on someone. But mother nature hated everyone today and I was just one of many with a number waiting to be called so Mrs. Nature could crap on me too.
And now my train is here and perhaps I've never been so happy to get on BART.
