Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie and I’ve been a recovering Busy Person for the past 10 years. My addiction started when I was in high school. Band practice, church, family birthdays, weddings, barbeques, and spending time with friends….that’s how I got hooked. I now fill my time with work, I’m pretty good at turning an 8hr/day job into a 10 and 12 hr job. My bosses tried to make me work less by implementing dinner breaks but they can’t stop me. It’s so bad, I even paid for my own Blackberry to use with my company’s email system. Even though I don’t get paid for checking my email 18 times each night, and even though I have to buy my own dinners and pay my own cell phone bill…I still love it. Unfortunately, I have a hard time justifying 872 hrs per week with my job, so I also go to church and support the Ray of Light group. Sometimes I do this at the expense of my friends and family whom enjoy seeing me, and, I obviously have fun with them...but I’m an addict and I need a more regular fix. I tried bowling one time but it was too slow. I found myself wanting to straddle 2 lanes while bowling with both arms. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I can’t make it to the next 3 meetings of our BPA Group – I’m simply going to be too busy.
