JFK
Downpouring rain all the way out of queens and into the bronx
Pelham
Meeting Clair's parents
Pelham pizza
Walking Baxter
Meeting Steph (Clair's sister)

Day 2:
Ate NY bagels
Took Train into Grand Central Station (officially in Manhattan for the first time ever)
Wondering around fifth ave through the 40-ish streets
Saw the public library, bryant park (the tents are up!), and walked to the empire state building, although we'll plan to go up on a clearer day
Saw a homeless man throw a pink smoothie-like drink into the face of some woman passing by - that's a first.
Met Junior and Ben and took the subway to Shea Stadium for the Mets game
Didn't stay for the second game
Went back to Grand Central and took pictures of Junior in front of "Junior's cheesecake shop"
Subwayed over to Times Square and soaked all of that in for a little while before heading back to Pelham.
Met brother Bill and GF Abby
Ate doughnuts and went to bed.
