There's a new (sort of new, they've been around for about a year) restaurant in Danville that I'm totally digging.  Lyn and I tried it the other night and had the best lasagna.  Tonight I went back and went for my true love, the mac n' cheese.  MMMMMMMM...
It's called The Sideboard, and it's in this old, historic building that used to be the Danville Hotel back in the day.  It's mainly a coffee, tea, wine, hang out when the weather gets warmer kind of place, but inside there are a handful of tables and some really good pasta and salad options.  I'm so in love with the atmosphere and the people that own and run the place.  But there's not enough room in this small cafe to handle the hoards of soccer moms in the Tri-Valley, so don't tell anyone, okay?

The Rodgers and Laura and Jason joined us and halfway through the evening we discovered something that makes this place even better -

COLORING BOOKS!!!

Each of the old, farm house style tables have drawers on the sides and Nicole happened to open one and we all discovered the joy that is coloring.  The photo above is obviously supposed to be a giraffe, but I told Lyndsey to put a Shelby dog face on the body for fun.  Here's what she came up with...what do you think?

Close enough, right?  Or did I have a little too much wine?
